Faucets, kitchen and bath.

Your kitchen faucet gets used every day, so a problem with it gets old fast. Leaks, loose handles, low pressure and dated fixtures waste water and make a mess. We repair faucets, and when it is time for a new one, we install it so it works smoothly for years.

They were here in time & did a wonderful job. I love the new kitchen sink & 2 new bathroom faucets.

Toilets.

A toilet that runs all night, rocks on the floor or leaks at the base is more than annoying. A slow leak at the flange can rot the subfloor. We repair the parts that fail, and when a toilet needs to come up, we reset it on a solid flange and seal.

Showers and sinks.

Shower heads and bathroom fixtures collect grime and mineral buildup. Common problems include dripping shower heads, poor water flow, and cracked or clogged fixtures. We repair or replace shower heads, valves and sinks to bring back pressure, comfort and a cleaner bathroom.

  • Dripping faucets and shower heads
  • Low flow at one fixture
  • Toilets that run, rock or leak
  • Cracked, chipped or clogged sinks
  • New faucets, toilets, sinks and shower heads

Repair before replace.

Many fixture problems come down to a worn part that costs far less than a new fixture. We repair first whenever that is an option, and we explain the choice plainly when it is not. You decide.

What it costs: our minimum service charge is $175 per hour plus materials. Fixtures and labor are explained before any work starts.

Toilet repair and replacement.

Toilets are one of the most common calls we get. Most toilet problems come down to a few parts:

  • Runs all nightUsually the flapper or fill valve. A quick repair that stops wasted water.
  • Rocks on the floorA loose or broken flange or worn bolts. Left alone, it breaks the seal.
  • Leaks at the baseA failed wax seal or a cracked flange. This is the one that rots subfloors, so it is worth fixing quickly.
  • Weak flush or frequent clogsBuildup, a partial clog in the line, or an older low-performing toilet.
  • Cracked tank or bowlReplacement.

When a toilet does need to be replaced, we pull the old one, check and repair the flange, and set the new toilet on a solid seal. The clean-up is guaranteed.

Before you call.

Tell the office which fixture it is, what it is doing (running, leaking, rocking, low flow) and whether you already have a replacement fixture. If you bought one, have the box handy.

Can you install a faucet or toilet I already bought?

Call the office at 509-968-4529 and tell us what you have. Materials we supply carry our 1-year warranty.

Can you fix low water pressure at one faucet?

Yes. Low flow at a single fixture is often buildup or a worn part, and it is usually a quick repair.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. Materials we supply and all of our workmanship carry a 1-year warranty.

Why does my toilet keep running?

Usually a worn flapper or fill valve. It is a quick repair and stops a lot of wasted water.

My toilet rocks. Is that a problem?

Yes. A rocking toilet usually means a loose or broken flange, and it eventually breaks the seal and leaks into the floor. Fix it early.

Which towns do you serve?

Ellensburg, Cle Elum, Selah, Roslyn, Easton, Vantage and Mattawa, plus the rest of Kittitas County. Call and ask if you are not sure.

Do you do commercial plumbing?

No. Excel Plumbing is a residential plumber: homes, rentals and second homes.
