The everyday problems, fixed properly.

Most plumbing calls start small. A faucet that drips all night. A toilet that keeps running. Water pressure that dropped and never came back. A pipe under the sink that started weeping. Left alone, each one wastes water, and some of them turn into water damage.

We find the cause and repair it the right way. That means tracing a leak to where it actually starts, not just tightening the fitting you can see, and checking the lines around it while we are there.

  • Leaky faucets, loose handles and dripping shower heads
  • Toilets that run, rock or leak at the base
  • Low water pressure through the house or at one fixture
  • Broken, cracked or leaking water lines
  • Slow drains and clogs in sinks, tubs and showers

Repair first. Replace only if it needs it.

We do not show up looking for something to sell. If a part can be repaired, we repair it. If it really is time to replace it, we show you why, tell you what it costs, and you decide. That is how Excel has worked since 1994.

What it costs: our minimum service charge is $175 per hour plus materials. The price is explained before any work starts, and there are no hidden fees.

Stocked vans, same-day aim.

Same-day service is our aim during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Our vans carry the common parts, so most repairs are finished on the spot instead of waiting on a second trip.

When the job is done, the area is cleaned up. The clean-up is guaranteed, and materials we supply plus all of our workmanship carry a 1-year warranty.

Know where your shut-off is.

Every house has a main water shut-off valve, usually where the water line comes in: in a crawl space, basement, garage or utility room. If a pipe lets go, turning it off stops the damage while you call. If you do not know where yours is, ask us to show you on the next visit.

Before you call.

Tell the office what you are seeing and where, whether water is still running or you have shut it off, and how long it has been going on. If you can, find your main water shut-off before we arrive.
